Raleigh Blog Society September Event

I know I’ve said it a million times, but I can honestly say that my favorite part about blogging is the fact that it has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people – bloggers and brands, alike. So, one of my favorite events each month is the Raleigh Blog Society meet up. Some months it’s a styled event, some times it’s a shared meal and other times it’s a class of some sort. 
This September’s event was the best of both worlds, a class and a meal! We started the evening with a FlyBarre class and then ended it over wine and dinner at Brixx!

The barre class was absolutely amazing. I can honestly say that even after only one class, I feel much more toned. I’m not going to sugar coat it, though, it whooped my butt. I thought I was in pretty good shape, but man was this class an eye opener. FlyBarre pushed us. It tested our limits and made us realize how much stronger we are than we think. 

My friend Morgan led the class and did an amazing job of guiding us through. She provided modifications when needed and encouraged us to keep challenging ourselves. 

In short, I’m obsessed! Plus, did you know they have pay per class options!? Talk about perfection. No gym membership needed!

After our class, Brixx hosted us for dinner and absolutely spoiled us! We started off with wine and this amazing Caprese bruschetta. After that, we all ordered entrees and shared. Some of the women got pizza (the buffalo chicken one was my fave) and I ordered the chicken salad. I know I’m going to sound lame saying this, but whatever – this salad is amazing. It has pistachios in it and I literally crave it all the time!

    • Yes!! I have been thinking that for the longest time! I wish I had your connection prior to my Chicago trip last year 🙁 the next time I visit, I definitely want to meet up!
