You guys know how much I love blogger events and this October’s event was no different. It was exactly what I needed and was an absolute blast! We started the evening at Parlor Blow Dry Bar to get some fabulous new ‘dos and ended the evening at Shuckers for drinks and dinner. See all of the wonderful details below!

If you guys haven’t figured it out by now, I’m the type of person that’s always busy. Even in my down time I find things to do just because I like being constantly on the move. When it comes to down time, though, I like to pamper myself. I like to kick back and go somewhere where they really pull out all the stops. Well let me tell you, if you are like me and enjoy relaxing in style and Parlor Blow Dry Bar is the place to go. {Because let’s be real, does anything feel better than someone doing your hair?}

When you arrive, you are offered a drink of your choice {bubbly anyone?} and are provided with a “menu” that features the hair styles they provide.

{This was my “before” picture.} When you are seated by the stylist, you will do a quick evaluation and go over style options. The stylist will wash your hair and will then proceed to style it per your “menu order.”

{This is my “after” look.} The team does an amazing job to make sure your blown out hair is chic, shiny and voluminous!

After we all finished our blow outs, we headed to Shuckers Oyster Bar & Grill on Glenwood for some tasty seafood! 
We started our meal with an appetizer of wings and crab dip, both of which were delicious!! I ordered the Honey-Chipotle Shrimp Wrap as my entree and it was perfection! It was sweet but spicy, crunchy but smooth… Yum! Oh and did I mention… They have the most amazing hush puppies!! Man those things are addictive. Here’s a little peek at their Instagram!
