Bright colors are my thing. {As I’m sure you’ll have figured out by now haha.} So when I saw this dress on Sharon, I immediately asked to borrow it. I love how effortless the fit is, but how much of a statement it still makes. When I put the dress on, though, regardless of how much of a pop the color made, I still felt like the look was missing something… It was missing a pop of contrast!
I started by adding the bracelet and the sunglasses, but even then the look felt very one dimensional. So, I went to my {now} old faithful, my neon watercolor scarf! When I added it to the outfit, I knew that’s what had been missing. Don’t you think it ties the entire contrast together!?
I absolutely love the contrast that the scarf provides — plus tying it to your bag was such a great idea. I'm going to have to do it this summer!

I know! I felt like adding it around my neck was too bulky/I've been doing that a lot lately, so adding it to my bag was the perfect little touch!
