I, like many of you I’m sure, am an avid YouTube tutorial watcher. I’ll find some interesting hair video or make up video and instantly get sucked into a cue of about eight more videos. Most of the time, I won’t even bother trying to replicate what I’ve seen, but when I saw this video by one of my favorite bloggers, I thought it looked simple enough. So I gave this “pull through” braid a try! I definitely still have some work to be done as far as practice goes, but I think it looks pretty good for my first time! {Well, by first time, I mean about my fifth try before I finally said, “Good enough, let’s go.” haha.}

Playing with patterns is one of the easiest ways to explore your style and I think mixing plaid with stripes is a perfect start. It is great for any season, but especially for fall when simple layers are crucial! Don’t you agree?

When I saw your braid i was like "that looks like Amber's!!" haha so obviously that means you are a pro at hair, too 🙂 Those shoes are so perfect with this outfit! They are like the cherry on top!
