I’m not really the type of person that “fangirls” over celebrities. Although I do find many of them extremely talented and/or interesting, I am more inspired by and interested in fellow girlboss creatives – The women that are in my field and are killing it! As an entrepreneur, I recognize just how much it takes to not only keep a business running and growing, but thriving. So when I’m around people that have grown something out of nothing, I’m simply in aw.
In addition, I‘m a firm believer in surrounding yourself with the type of people you aspire to be. I think there’s something to be said about the way they can inspire you without you even knowing it.

All that said, Geni of Pink Owl Photography is someone that I simply swoon over. She is business savy, fun and is forever empowering those around her. I am so happy to have met her and am so lucky to consider her a friend. She’s one of the best photographers I know so when she reached out about collaborating I died a little bit. {Am I coming in too hot? Ok, I’ll try to calm down a bit.} But really, how amazing are these pictures?!
