How to Rock a Head Scarf

Square scarves are all the rage right now for both boho looks and more preppy ones, and I’m telling you, you should totally jump on board! 
 
“But I don’t look good in head wraps.” Ye of little faith!! It’s all in the technique! Here’s my advice.


1) Tie the knot at the back of the neck in the center or on top of your head, slightly off-center.

 
      2) Make it intentional and fluff that bow! Show them you mean business. (It’s all in the
      confidence.) So, after tying your knot, be sure to pull it apart a little.      3) Pull out some baby hairs. Creating a slightly wispy look will make it feel more effortless. (The 
      best ones to loosen up are the ones right above your ear.)      4) Follow your hat rule. Say what? You know, do you tuck your ears or nah? Whatever you 
      normally do when wearing a baseball hat applies also to wearing head scarves. (I definitely 
      should have tucked the top of my ears in. Oopsies!)

      5) Pick a print. Adding a head or neck scarf is a great way to make more of a statement with 
      your look, so pack a punch!

  5. I love this outfit to begin with and the head scarf adds a playful touch to this look! I remember wearing hair ribbons as headbands growing up, but man have they changed since then!
