Last weekend I was invited to the SPCA’s top fundraiser of the year, the Wake County Fur Ball. A combination of silent and live auctions, the event raised money to support the cost of the SPCA, and to save the lives of hundreds of homeless pets. Supported 100% by donations, the SPCA calls the Fur Ball the “most important night of the year for homeless pets in Wake County.”
