Last month I had the great pleasure of planning and styling not one, but two photo shoots for Frill, both on the same day! It was a lot of work, but I absolutely LOVED it! In designing and planning these shoots, I realized that styling events is something that I want to get more into doing. I love the fact that every detail is thought out, planned and approved of, and that on one day all of the little elements form the perfect, cohesive look.
So, I approached my best friend, Aubrey who has an amazing food blog, and together we decided to start hosting regular dinner parties. We decided to use local vendors and to draw from the seasons best ingredients. It was agreed upon that I will show the styled elements on my blog and she will share the recipes and food elements on hers!
Since a lot of people have cookouts on Labor Day, we decided that this past weekend would be the perfect time to host our first dinner party. We invited a couple of close friends and had blast! Doesn’t everything look tasty!?!
