Raleigh has been having the nastiest weather lately! It’s cool and overcast, everything looks gray and there is a constant mist. We aren’t experiencing any crazy downpours or anything, simply enough to ruin your hair as soon as you step outside. {Which is almost even worst because at least if it was down pouring you would feel the afro was justified, but no, it is the almost non-existent moisture that is ruining my ‘do.}
Needless to say, I have been LIVING in these duck boots lately and you know what, I am perfectly fine with that. They are super comfy and perfect for rainy days. Even better? They are under $35!! Please do us all a favor and get some for yourself asap. You won’t regret it! Plus, they’re having a sale right now where all shoes are buy one get one $10. So you could start holiday shopping too!! {They also have some at Target now for not much more!}

PS – Sorry these pictures are so grey and blah… hopefully the weather will get pretty soon!

  29. I totally know what you mean about the weather, I hate it when it's in between like that! Although I would prefer overcast to super hot and sunny – I'm from California. I love how your ponytail looks with the added moisture from the weather though, it gives it some nice volume and messyness!

  33. I love that anchor sweater! I have a pair of LL Bean duck boots, but I only ever break them out when I travel to cold places–Louisiana never gets cold enough!

  36. This outfit is so adorable! I love everything about it 🙂 I broke out my Bean Boots this weekend because we're also having so much nasty weather. Today is the first day that my hair hasn't been a frizzy mess. Hope that this coming week is full of sunshine!
