In the spirit of moving and trying to get organized, I thought it would be fun to do a little interior design inspiration post. I don’t know about you guys, but every time I move, I change the style of my room slightly. Maybe it’s me growing up. Maybe it’s my way of trying new things. Or maybe it’s simply the fact that by the time I move, I’m tired of my old decor. Who knows! Either way, since moving this weekend, I’ve already started stirring up ideas about how I want to polish my room.
All of my furniture is neutral, but if there’s anything you guys know about me, it’s that I LOVE color. I love mixing prints and throwing in unexpected pops. So there is a ton of fun to be had when buying accessories. Only problem? It seems that whenever people think of bright colors in relation to interior design, they automatically think kids room (aka all of the findings I was getting on Pinterest relating to “colorful interiors” searches.) Enter Maria Barros – My dream designer and a chic mixer of colors! There is hope after all! Finding her designs online {along with a few others} was so inspiring! Stay tuned to see how I end up styling my new space!
